UV resistant self adhesive bitumen Waterproof Membrane is a high-performance waterproofing material that is particularly suitable for building roofs and walls that need to be exposed to the sun and the natural environment for long periods of time. This membrane combines self- adhesive technology, sunlight resistance and excellent waterproofing with a long service life and good weather resistance.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Suitable for industrial and civil building roofing, municipal engineering roofing, but also for wood and metal structure roof waterproofing project. it is especially suitable for waterproofing Projects of petroleum depot, chemical factory, textile factory, grain depot, etc., which are not suitable for using open fire.

CONSTRUCTION METHOD

▪ Grass-roots requirements: waterproof layer should be solid and flat, no drums, loose, sanding, peeling, no dust, debris, oil, rust and so on.

▪ Node processing: the eaves, gutter, corners, water fall, deformation joints and other special parts of the self-adhesive membrane with a good additional layer.

▪ Spray or spray special grass-roots treatment agent: to be dry grass-roots treatment agent, should be paved in a timely manner membrane.

▪ Lap width: the lap width of both long and short sides is 80mm.

▪ Horizontal paving: first use the ink line on the grass-roots level to pop up a baseline, align the coil with the baseline, and then pave from low to high, unfold the coil at the same time, remove the isolation paper, pave along the baseline, and immediately after paving, use the rubber roller to compact. When the temperature is low or the viscosity of the membrane is low, under the circumstance of allowing fire, the hot air torch can be used to heat slightly.

▪ Vertical surface paving: vertical surface from low to high paving, the side of the unfolding side to open the isolation paper, paving with rubber roller compaction, if necessary, to take the metal pressure bar fixed.

▪ Membrane header: seal the header with Sealant, and then fix it with metal pressure strip, fixing screw and top seam should be sealed.

▪ Construction inspection: check the self-adhesive membrane for tears, breaks, bubbles, rolled edges, openings. In case of defects, make a cut at the defective place, discharge the air bubbles, and then repair the cut and compact it.
